About Us

Thatcham’s Parish Hall was built in the early 1900s after the idea of a village hall was instigated in 1903 by Miss Henry.

Plans were made to build a venue to accommodate 200 people at concerts.

The Hall was built by Mr Child and opened on 10th April 1907.

The Parish Hall still serves the community today and is used by many groups for meetings, entertainment, parties and much more.

Thatcham Parish Hall is managed independently by committee members made up of people from the local community.  They put their heart and souls in to mantaining this historical building for the ongoing use of the community.
