Thatcham Parish Hall
Bringing The Community Together
COVID -19

The following are the current guidelines for the safe hire of Thatcham Parish Hall.
All usual activities can now take place within the hall.

The Thatcham Parish Hall Committee have followed the advice given to Community Buildings by Public Health England and looked carefully at what is required in order to keep everyone safe throughout the pandemic.

We have a Covid-19 Risk Assessment which details the hazards and controls for hand sanitation, cleaning, the wearing of face coverings, ventilation, the disposal of waste, social distancing, record keeping and what to do in the event of a suspected case. You must examine this document carefully, as acceptance of it is a condition of your hire.
We are asking Hall users to sanitise frequently touched surfaces at the hall (door and window handles, taps, sinks etc.) at the end of their hire using the products provided.
We are giving hirers an extra 15 minutes cleaning time at the end of each session to do this.
If you or anyone in your hire group are showing signs of coronavirus then please do not attend the hall and follow Government / NHS guidelines.

We may need to close the hall temporarily and cancel bookings at short notice if advised to do so by health officials following a confirmed case of Covid-19.
